Every quarter the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ranks the top 100 greenest energy consumers. The list includes companies, cities, and government departments. Despite having enormous, energy-consuming campuses, Intel and Microsoft toped the EPA’s list. Both companies produce more energy from renewable sources than they consume, with energy sources including biogas, biomass, hydro, solar, and wind power.
