Waste-to-water system is a sanitation miracle

Hundreds of thousands of people die every year from contaminated water. But a new device developed with the help of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has found a solution that solves the problem of sanitation and finding potable drinking water. The device is called an Omniprocessor and basically separates human waste into solids and liquids. The solids are then burned to heat the liquid to steam that creates electricity and then turns into potable water. The Omniprocessor is being planned for upcoming tests in Senegal.
