That’s the gist from a study by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, indicating that in years from now, small, self-driving electric cars could pick up and drop off passengers using smart technology. The benefit of these “Robocabs?” Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an astonishing 94 percent in 2030.
