That’s why it’s a major step forward that Las Vegas has reached the goal of 100 percent renewable energy. The city has been working on this goal for nearly a decade, and can it can produce all the power it needs through newly installed solar panels and other sustainability programs. Las Vegas shows what is possible with a steady supply of sunlight, and this should inspire similar cities to do the same.
