In fact, one study on memory and photography found that when museum-goers took pictures of exhibits, they were less likely to remember them than if they did not take pictures at all. When you get the urge to snap a picture the next time you see something spectacular, ignore it. Not only will you enjoy the moment more, but you’ll also be able to remember it.
