Today’s Solutions: June 13, 2026

We all have different ways of knowing when we’re drained and need to recharge. Whether it’s anxious snacking, snapping at a friend, or feeling just plain bummed, these are all signs that we’re in need of a reboot to get ourselves back on track. Fortunately, there are endless small ways you can help yourself refresh if you’re stressed and stretched too thin. Here are 15 to get you started:

  1. Try a gratitude breathing exercise like this one we wrote about in December.
  2. Tap into a happy memory.
  3. Turn to fiction for a reading escape.
  4. Count to ten with your eyes closed. Yes, sometimes it can be that simple!
  5. Take a dance break.
  6. Smell some essential oils. Find your favorite smell and make it a familiar comfort.
  7. Color with your kids (or on your own!)
  8. Do some downward facing dog yoga.
  9. Put on your favorite playlist.
  10. Spend some time outdoors.
  11. Get to 10,000 steps with a long walk.
  12. Cuddle with a pet.
  13. Take a power nap.
  14. Break a sweat.
  15. Repeat an encouraging mantra.

These are just some of the numerous small, but powerful ways to give yourself a recharge. What’s your go to reset strategy?
