Today’s Solutions: April 25, 2024

A few weeks ago we recommended adopting composting for the ultimate green New Year’s Resolution. Now there’s a new gadget that makes composting even easier by combining it with your garbage disposal.

The new Sepura disposal separates out liquids and solids and deposits solids into a collection container to be composted. The sorting technique means you also don’t have to worry about putting things down the drain that will dull your disposal’s blades.

The device is easy to install. You simply attach the separator device to the underside of your sink and attach your drain pipe to one side and the collection bin to the other. The collection bin even has a carbon filter to reduce smells and an LED light to indicate when it is full.

Garbage disposals make doing dishes easier, faster, and now even greener. If you are a big disposal user and want to boost your composting, consider investing in a Sepura!
