We tend to see life as a journey, but British philosopher Alan W. Watts thinks this makes no sense. As he explains, life should not be considered a journey because the end is not the primary goal. Rather life is like a piece of music or a dance: tasks in which the doing is far more important than reaching the end. We could explain his analogy more, but it’s far better if you listen to the eloquent way in which Watts explains it himself.
