FloWater, the company which aims to eradicate single-use plastic bottles altogether, has raised $15 million to help achieve its aim. The firm has introduced reusable water bottle refilling stations to numerous schools, colleges, fitness centers, hotels and offices, and aims to set out to address four environmental concerns: obesity in the US; the nearly 40 billion single-use plastic water bottles that end up in our oceans and landfills; the millions of barrels of oil and the industry’s hundreds of millions of pounds of carbon footprint; and the toxins in single-use plastic bottles.
