Hundreds of millions of women around the world want to avoid pregnancy every year but don’t have access to contraception. A new report released by the UN has found that just $25 per year per woman in the developing world would dramatically reduce deaths related to births, STDs, and other sexual health complications. Unwanted pregnancies would be cut by 70 percent, and unsafe abortions by 74 percent, along with many more eye-opening numbers.
