Stopping severe blood loss quickly can be the difference between life and death. Yet, doing so can be extremely tricky. In fact, it’s so effective it can stop bleeding within 20 seconds after contact, much more effective than any traditional tourniquet can do. The syringe will be key in helping first-responders provide respite to patients and it can be used for four hours until a patient can receive surgical treatment.
