Today’s Solutions: March 30, 2026

While TEDx is about sharing stories and fuelling the discussion, TOM is all about the action. It’s a 72-hour event bringing together coders, developers, engineers and doctors to work with individuals with disabilities. The goal is to come up with technological solutions for everyday challenges. In three days up to 20 projects are completed by 150 people – all of whom are volunteers. In the past year, TOM held seven events in four different countries: US, Canada, Brazil and Israel. It now aims to host 100 events by 2017, which should be organized in the TEDx style.
