In San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York City, patients can hail a doctor as they would a Lyft driver. Typically, doctor and patient have never met before—owing to the luck of the draw. However both can enjoy a full-hour visit, a luxury that today’s healthcare system rarely allows in America. Could technology be breathing new life into patient-physician interactions?
