Neurologists at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago have found that cinnamon has the ability to reverse biomechanical, cellular and anatomical changes that are caused by Parkinson’s disease. The study discovered that after the body metabolizes cinnamon into sodium benzoate it enters the brain and both protects, and stops the loss of neurons that are impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
