Today’s Solutions: July 01, 2026

Many countries still operate noisy, dirty, stinky diesel engine trains. However, the renewable energy future for trains is bright as well. This week Germany presented the first CO2-emission-free train powered by hydrogen. The “hydrail” will start operating next year. German states have so far ordered 60 hydrail trains. Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands have expressed interest in the train as well.
