A team of scientists from the University of Newcastle has found that organic food has higher levels of antioxidants, and lower levels of toxic metals and pesticides. In the most comprehensive study done on organic food to date, researchers concluded the difference between organic and non-organic is ‘significant’, and eating organic instead of non-organic could add 1-2 servings of fruits and vegetables to your meal intake per day.
