The future of elephants in Africa depends on it: Stopping the poaching. As ivory and rhino horns become more desirable, poaching increases. There are major transnational crime networks behind the poaching initiatives, so professional help is needed. International organizations are stepping up and organizing a new search initiative to find the source of the poaching. Leading this initiative is a former CSI investigator who examines the DNA found in ivory seizures, which he uses to track the geographical location of the animal habitats. They already caught the biggest ivory dealer in West Africa with this new technique.
