Sitting in a wheelchair, but still being able to hop on a surfboard and ride the waves. That’s actually possible, through virtual reality. Experts even expect that virtual reality will be enhanced with sensory feedback soon, which means we could be able to gain new understanding of our bodies. The possibilities with virtual reality are endless. For example, the organization Honor Everywhere has even created experiences for aging World War II veterans so they can virtually visit war memorials halfway across the country.
