In many minds, Africa is still a lost continent. That’s not an accurate assessment. Some African economies are among the fastest growing countries in the world. Here is a list of the ten finalists for Innovation Prize for Africa. The finalists include peer-to-peer learning platform Tuteria, a urine-based malaria test, a mini-tractor for small farmers and a solar power system that dramatically reduces the cost of air conditioning.
