Today’s Solutions: May 14, 2026

Breast cancer research is making a breakthrough. Yesterday we wrote about a new genetic test that can determine whether early-stage breast cancer patients can avoid chemotherapy. Today we  have even more exciting news: a woman with advanced breast cancer which had spread around her body has been completely cleared of the disease by a groundbreaking therapy that harnessed the power of her immune system to fight the tumors. This marks the first time a late-stage breast cancer patient has been treated using the patient’s own immune cells to find and destroy cancer cells that have formed in the body.
