Without the permission of president Trump, many states in America are trying to force pharmaceutical companies to freeze prices and reduce out-of-pocket costs for consumers struggling to pay for drugs that often cost thousands of dollars a month. Thus far, 24 states have passed bills that, for the first time, aim to curb rising prescription drug costs.
