Scientists have discovered a compound within a rare Chinese tree that can effectively kill pancreatic cancer tumors. When used together with a common chemotherapy drug, the compound attacks tumors that had previously resisted treatment. The new findings may drastically improve the outlook for people who suffer from pancreatic cancer.
