Today’s Solutions: July 06, 2026

Dave Anderson, creator of the Beyond Burger is back, this time with meatless pork rinds. Distributed by Outstanding Foods, PigOut Rinds come as a sequel to the company’s successful PigOut Chips, a line of vegan bacon chips.

The new product launched this week and the plant-based pork rinds are available in four flavors: Original, Nacho Cheese, Hella Hot, and Texas BBQ. In addition to being meat-free, the “pork” rinds have 25 grams of protein in every full-size bag and cost $3.99 per 3.5 oz bag.

This week is all about hearts, and if you’re making an effort to eat heart-healthy, new and delicious plant-based snacks make it all the easier. Of course, it does seem a bit ridiculous that we’re even copying pork rinds, but if it helps people make the switch away from meat, then we can’t complain.
