Scientists may have found a way to reverse the development of bone loss by vibrating stem cells in the body to incite the repair of bone tissue. Researchers succeeded in doing this in a laboratory setting, taking human cells and vibrating them precisely on a nanoscale. The findings could lead to treatments for patients suffering from osteoporosis and reverse lost bone tissue in paralyzed limbs.
