Constant distractions on our mobile devices are keeping us from focussing nowadays. Smart people are working on ways to keep these distractions at bay. A new device called Phylter is one of those ways. The device switches off sounds and notifications on your phone automatically, when it finds that you are concentrating on something. It does this by measuring brain activity and blood flow, using an infrared sensor. That’s right, you’ll need to wear a headband while using this device. Therefore, it might not be the most practical solution yet, but it shows promise for the future of our concentration and focus.
