Today’s Solutions: December 17, 2025

The Obama administration has finalized a new six-year process of shaping how each of the government’s agencies will factor climate change into their decisions. In this latest climate change policy, the Council on Environmental Quality will ask agencies to not only include climate change in their considerations but actually quantify the climate impacts of their decisions. The information will be public, allowing America to see which government actions hurt the climate most and will give an opportunity for people to weigh in on decision-making.
