As the global economy makes the monumental transition from an energy system based on fossil fuels to one based on clean renewable energy sources, a clear procedure must be in place for evaluating how well companies are participating in that transition. The inaugural Clean 200 list tries to do just that with a list that ranks the largest publicly listed companies worldwide by their total clean energy revenues. Atop the list was Toyota, followed by Siemens and Tesla. It is worth noting that China represented 66 of those 200 companies, showing how serious China is about switching to a clean energy system.
