Living in this modern age where tragedies and ugly election campaigns fill our screens and dominate the airwaves, it can be simple to fall into a pessimistic view of the world. But being an optimist isn’t about ignoring all of that is wrong in the world, it’s about focusing on the good things in the world and working towards positive change. Being optimistic is a habit, and if you train yourself to focus on making things better instead of wondering how much worse a situation can get, it makes it a lot easier to make any situation into the best and help you to enjoy life without as much stress.
