Combatting food-waste through producing snack bars out of leftover fruits

Two British environmentalists have found a creative way to do something about the enormous waste of fruit that is overproduced or deemed not suitable for supermarkets due to minor deficits. The pair decided to make snacks out of produce that would otherwise been thrown away. They collect fruit from farmers to produce their ‘Snact’, which comes in three flavors. Besides a solution to food-waste, in this way they also provide a healthy alternative for chocolate bars.
