Animal-rights groups have successfully pushed large food companies in the U.S to source their eggs from cage-free hens in recent years, and now one of the world’s largest food suppliers is pledging to do the same. Paris-based Sodexo announced they will switch to cage-free eggs in all their operations around the world by 2025. Other big food companies like Grupo Bimbo are doing the same, showing the trend is going more global.
